Wow I love how you do this!! This poster is beautiful, by the way, and I think it’s kind of genius to use house paint. Gotta love those custom colors. What kind of paper do you use?
Hey cool! Nice to get some insight into your process. I have the same question about the house paint- do you feel it dries fast in the screen as well? Especially when doing a sizable print run like this?
Wow! Thanks for the information! I just stumbled onto your work via Jen Skelley and I’m so glad I did. I love your work and I love screenprinting. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get started making my own screen prints and I’m inspired to start experimenting.
Nate, thank you for sharing your incredible process with us. I love knowing your use of Sherwin Williams paint — brilliant — and seeing how it all comes together makes your art all the more beautiful and interesting.
Love the limited edition print you did for the Circa Survive in NC this past spring. Colin is a buddy of mine, and I’ve had it on my wall since the show. I look at it everyday ad it makes me happy. Love your work!
question:
does the house paint start to dry quickly on the screen???
WOW! I wasn’t expecting what the brown would do to the print!
Looks beautiful 🙂
Wow, Great post. Thanks for sharing!

Amazing, One day I wanna do that. =D

Love your work
How archival is the house paint? Will it not deteriorate over time faster than silkscreening ink?
Just saw your profile on the Communication Arts Magazine website and I love your work !

Really awesome prints, and brilliant to use house paint! Now I wanna try it! 🙂 Any noticeable archival-issues?
